It’s been a while since my last Blog! Way too long actually. I’ve been busy with photo workshops (www.nephotoworkshops.com) and my own landscape photography. I’d rather be busy than just sitting around though!
These are exciting times for a photographer as new cameras continue to be introduced that ‘raise the bar’ for image quality and size at reasonable prices. Software is right along beside those new cameras with exciting new techniques to enable great ‘standard’ style images but also to be able to create unique imagery. All fun. End of July we go to Lubec, Maine for another ‘BOLD Coast of Maine’ photo workshop. Arguably one of my favorites and I’m looking forward to be bringing along a new camera with me. How can one go wrong? Explore the Maine coast, photograph Puffins, go onto Campobello Island in Canada! How fun & diverse is that?!
Just came back form the Great North Woods of Maine (another top favorite workshop of mine) where we photographed moose up fairly close along with some great scenery. Mt. Katahdin located in Baxter State Park is one of my favorite mountains and one I just love photographing. If you’re into photography you should check it out. If you’re into hiking you should….check it out.
So, a key point here is in order for a photographer to get great images of their favorite locations they should be Going Back… and going back again! That’s how you get great images. The image here of Katahdin is arguably my personal most favorite one I have ever taken of that mountain. And, trust me I’ve been back many times!
This is now one of my favorite images that I’ve ever taken of Mt Katahdin in Millinocket, Maine. Can’t add anything else!
Anyway, back to work!
